Sign up with our partner exchange to buy and sell Urth coins directly into your connected bank account. The coins are the means to buy the soil carbon Jewels. The main idea is to remind the buyer that everything is in some way connected to the earth and as such should be being traded in balance with the earth.

For many, the above ground diversity is a sign of the richness of microbial diversity in the soil and the therefor the health of the produce grown there and the animals raised.

visit the Urth marketplace for carbon Jewels. These can be purchased with Urth coins and stored in your wallet to trade as the price moves around or retire when needed as offsets for personal use or as business emissions. Any Jewel retired will receive an official certificate for business purposes from the smart contract generated.
Each level of biodiversity rating increases the value of the soil carbon Jewel by a commensurate amount in accord with the expected ecology of the region as ascertained by the on the ground expert.
for example, a rating one is plus 10% of the ACCU (Australian Carbon Credit Unit) spot price, whereas a rating 2, is 1.6 times the spot price; and so on (see the marketplace to see the full list of ratings). The farmer’s Jewels can be measured through the ACCU system or they may have been created with the Verra system and are to be sold into the voluntary market if the farmer has entered their Jewels into that system instead. The farmer with an ACCU system has the right to choose the market they wish to sell into or not once minted. Whilst the buyer can see and choose the system they wish to support also.
